Two men arrested after teen girl dies as armed police race to takeaway incident

Two men have been arrested after teen girl died following an alleged major takeaway incident.

A 16-year-old girl has died after armed police swarmed a Welsh village earlier today.

Two men have been arrested in connection and are currently in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries.

South Wales Police have confirmed the 'sudden and unexplained' death of the teenager

It comes after officers rushed to an alleged incident near the Blue Sky Chinese takeaway in Ynyswen, in Rhondda, South Wales.

Police believe the three people involved knew each other and they are not looking for any other suspects.

Cops earlier confirmed a "number of casualties" that needed to be rushed to hospital.

A white forensics tent has now been erected in the area.

Investigations are ongoing into the incident, reports The Mirror.

Neighbour John Belgrove 46, said "I was in my workshop when I heard sirens and saw police everywhere.

South Wales Police said they were dealing with a "serious incident" which involved a "number of casualties", reports Wales Online.

Neighbour Mavis Wakeford said: "It is very serious. The police have stopped me going out the back and told me to stay inside."
