Armed police raced to an Edinburgh street this morning as cops swarmed the area.
Residents spotted a heavy police presence around 7am this morning on Oxgangs Crescent.
At least four police vehicles parked on the street, south-west of the city, and an eyewitness saw armed officers arrive shortly after 7am.
Officers were spotted approaching an address on the quiet street wearing riot gear and holding firearms.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
