ARMED police have been pictured at an "incident" involving an "axe" in Glasgow.
Officers swooped on Pinmore Street in the Southside at around 8pm on Monday, February 24.
The force revealed they were alerted to an alleged disturbance at a property in the area.
Armed response officers raced to the scene where they recovered an "axe".
Following the incident, a 38-year-old man was arrested and charged.
He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
In pictures shared online, several armed response vehicles could be seen on the residential street amid the alleged disturbance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on Pinmore Street, Glasgow around 8pm on Monday, February 24, 2025.
“A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date."
