Armed police launched a raid in Ayr during broad daylight.
It came during a pre-planned operation in the town's Princes Court yesterday.
Officers carrying firearms were on scene as they carried out the operation relating to potential drugs and firearms offences.
A man was detained and later released without charge.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the operation was pre-planned and firearms officers were in attendance at around 2pm.
