A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Leeds city centre jewellers.
West Yorkshire Police say armed officers arrested the man at a property in Leeds, in the early hours of Monday, January 3.
He is being held in custody and questioned about last week's brazen robbery at Phillip Stoner The Jeweller, in the County Arcade.
At around 10.30am on Wednesday, January 29, a group of masked men stormed into the jewellers in Briggate, armed with axes and crowbars.
They smashed display cabinets, crammed jewellery into several bags and jumped into a car waiting outside, before fleeing from the scene.
Police say it was a "planned and organised" robbery and detectives have been "carrying out extensive enquiries to identify those involved".
No one was injured during the robbery.
Several people filmed the thieves leaving the jewellers and jumping into the getaway car.
