Armed police and ambulances scrambled to residential estate in Blackley

Armed police are on a residential estate in Blackley.

Officers were scrambled to Mansfield Road, in Blackley, just after 8pm.

There is a large police presence at the scene with several patrol cars and tactical aid units.

Ambulance crews are also in the area.

Greater Manchester Police said simply that officers were dealing with an “ongoing incident”.
