Armed gardai swarmed a property in Co Mayo as a man was arrested in a dramatic operation.
The raid happened in the Swinford area of the county at around 11am on Friday.
Officers from the Claremorris Community Engagement area, the Mayo Crime Unit, and the armed support unit carried out the bust.
Gardai were investigating after the "production of a firearm" in the town on Wednesday.
And in the course of their searches this morning gardai seized "firearms and offensive weapons" which have now been sent for analysis.

A man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Ballina Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
He can be detained for a period of 72 hours under the Act.
A garda spokesman added that investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
