Armed gang involved in Cork feud promise to beat rivals to death in chilling call out video

This video is the first of a series of call-out styled threats between feuding gangs in Co Cork, where a group of men have promised to beat their rivals to death.

A gang of masked men in poor lighting shout towards the camera while aggressively waving machetes and other weapons.

Yesterday, we who were responding to this initial menacing video.

The ring leader told the camera: "We are waiting here all evening for ye to come up, ye are saying we are getting away with things, we are baiting ye all our lives and there's nothing ye can do about it.

"And the likes of any of ye we get around these roads, we are going to beat ye to death ye dirty t****s."

The group then raise their weapons and end the video with some loud roars as they approach the camera.

This video and the reply have sparked concerns that a gang war could be about to break-out in Cork City with tensions at a scary high.

Gardai confirmed they are aware of both videos and are looking into the threats.

A spokesperson said: "An Garda Síochána are aware of a video circulating on social media in which a family are threatened.

"The video is not linked to any violent incidents in Mayfield & Blackpool or the desecration of graves at Kilcully cemetery that An Garda Síochána are investigating."
