Armed cops have swooped on a home in Grangsemouth amid reports a woman had died.
The woman's body is understood to have been found earlier this evening.
Police and paramedics raced to Kingseat Avenue shortly before 10pm.
Officers are still at the scene in what has been declared an "ongoing incident."
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers are currently in attendance at a property in Grangemouth due to an ongoing incident.
"Enquiries are at an early stage however there is no threat to the wider public."
