Armed cops have stormed a street after a gang allegedly carrying guns entered a home. Cops were alerted to the alleged incident at around 11pm on Wednesday, April 11, in Bootle, near Liverpool.
They received reports of a group of men entering a property in the area. Armed officers were soon on the scene and they arrested a 22-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man from Bootle on suspicion of possession of a firearm offence, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The pair were also arrested on suspicion possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and theft of a motor vehicle, after drugs and an e-scooter were allegedly found after a search.
Detective Inspector James Halpin said: "Although we have made two arrests an investigation remains underway as we continue our enquiries into this incident.
