Police are warning residents of three armed carjackings reported recently at a parking lot in Wicker Park on the North Side.

In each incident, someone was walking to or from their parked vehicle in the 2200 block of West Division Street, Chicago police said.

In one incident, the carjackings beat a man and then stole his vehicle, police said. In the other incidents, carjackers chased someone and displayed a handgun before taking their vehicle.

The carjackings happened about 10:40 p.m. Jan 6., about 6:35 p.m. Jan. 28, and about 6:10 p.m. Feb. 4, police said.

The carjackers are three males, according to police. One man is described as 15 to 20 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and 120 to 130 pounds, police said. Another male is believed to be 13 to 18 years old 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, and 140 to 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Five detectives at 312-746-7394.
