Armadale Thistle's plans for next season have received a boost with the signing of experienced defender Sammy Watson from rivals Fauldhouse United.
Watson skippered the Park View side last term and was even appointed interim manager following the departure of Jon Connolly. Former Arthurlie boss Chris Mackie was appointed as the new boss in May.
Derek Strickland's outfit are considered one of the favourites in the East Region juniors for the upcoming season and their new arrival adds to a sturdy defence at Volunteer Park that includes Colin Leiper.
