Armadale Primary School crowned West Lothian basketball champions

Armadale Primary School were crowned West Lothian champions after they won the recent West Lothian Wolves Primary League play-offs.

The final play-offs involved the winning team from each of the West Lothian clusters and it was Armadale who would emerge top of the pile with an undefeated record.

They, along with runners-up Livingston Village, have now qualified for the Lothians final which will see the two sides represent West Lothian against all champion schools in the Edinburgh and Lothians region.

Armadale PS teacher Mark Wheelhouse said: “We were very well supported by parents and our children played exceptionally well.

“We, at the school, are very proud of their achievements and of how they conducted themselves on the day. They really are a credit to the school.”
