Arla is selling off a giant cheese plant in North Wales - with the site going on the market for £2.5m.
The dairy cooperative closed the creamery in Llandyrnog two years ago, with the loss of 97 jobs, following a “strategic re-evaluation” of Arla’s cheese operations.
This year they said the decision to dispose of its site was “the right course of action” for the business for its farmer owners.
Now it has gone on the market for £2.5m with commercial agent Nabarro McAllister.
It is hoped new jobs can be brought to the site.
They said: "The site comprises a former dairy and cheese factory with an array of manufacturing buildings, warehouse buildings and office buildings on a sizeable 10.58 acre site.
"The property has been used for many years as a dairy and cheese factory.
"The current planning is, therefore, for manufacturing use."
The Llandyrnog creamery has made cheese, including cheddar, at the site for nearly 100 years.
Welsh Government and Denbighshire council have been urged to help secure a new owner for the site.
Ward councillor Merfyn Parry previously said: "Arla has kept it in good condition, and I don’t want to see it deteriorating over the next five or six years and becoming an eyesore in the Vale of Clwyd."
