Football icon Arjen Robben could line up against Scotland in their Euro 2020 warm-up against the Netherlands after he launched a shock bid to come out of international retirement.
Steve Clarke 's men face the Dutch in Portugal on June 2 for one of their final warm-up games before the European Championships, after a training camp in Spain.
And they could be set to come up against 37-year-old former Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea star Robben after he made a successful comeback for Groningen in his first game for seven months.
The 96-times capped winger created two assists for his club and revealed he is hoping for a remarkable Euro 2020 recall...four years after he first retired.
Robben said: "If Frank de Boer called me and asked me to play then I would go.
"It would be nice, but you have to be realistic, very fit and know that you can contribute to the team.
"Playing at Euro 2020 is one of my wildest dreams, but you have to be very careful. Right now I'm not saying I want to go myself, but if he De Boer calls me, I'll say yes."
Robben won titles in four different countries and was a World Cup Final runners-up with the Netherlands at the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
