Ariana Grande reportedly turned down an honorary damehood for her work with the victims of the bombing at her Manchester Arena concert.
The 25-year-old pop star is said to have thought it was too soon after the tragedy and that it may have been viewed as insensitive.
The Thank U, Next singer visited victims of the Manchester terror attack in hospital and organised the One Love charity concert in the city just two weeks after the bombing.

Grande was not physically hurt but she has spoken about how she suffered post-traumatic stress disorder after the attack.
The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying: "Ariana was flattered but said it was too soon. She explained she was still grieving. So were scores of families.
"She feared some affected might see it as insensitive. The committee wrote to her but she politely said no."
Another source was quoted as saying that she was “deeply moved” and “honoured” but felt it was not the right time to accept.
The Honours Committee reportedly wanted to make her a Dame Commander of the British Empire which can be given to foreign nationals. US actress Angelina Jolie received a similar accolade in 2014 for her work campaigning against sexual violence.
