Ariana Grande Slams Scalpers Who Are Reselling Her Tickets At Ridiculous Prices: ‘Not Right’

Pop princess and Wicked superstar Ariana Grande has taken aim at resellers who’ve scalped tickets for her highly anticipated 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour. While there are no Australian dates, we feel Arianators’ pain.

After a stellar year by gifting us the movie version of Glinda the Good in Wicked, Ariana broke the internet by announcing her return to her pop star roots with a World Tour.

Although Australia was left out on this tour — like MOST tours — fans across the globe have been scrambling to cop some tickets.

Earlier this week, when tickets for the North American dates went on sale, fans flocked to X to document their hopes and dreams of attending the Eternal Sunshine Tour, and unsurprisingly, the tickets sold out.

While the official Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange tickets for Ariana’s tour haven’t opened, tickets for the North American dates can be found at a ridiculously inflated price on third-party sites like SeatGeek, StubHub and more.

Now, the “Sweenter” singer has come onto Instagram, slamming resellers for scalping tickets for monetary gain.

“Hi, my angels,” Ariana began.

“I have been on set all week, but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with my secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention, and of course, I am incredibly bothered by it.

“I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. I hear you, and hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right.

“I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much and we will do, and are doing everything we can.

“I love you all so much and thank you for your patience and understanding.”

While we don’t have an Ariana tour on the cards just yet, us Aussies know how bloody annoying ticket scalpers are.

Most Australian states have a ban on how much you can surge the price while reselling tickets — with it usually being capped at 110 per cent of the original price. However, in some states, like Victoria and NSW, this limit only applies if the state government has declared a major event, like Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour.

Fingers crossed, if Ariana makes her way Down Under, it’s marked as a darn major event OR you’ll just catch me at Penrith Panthers’ Ticketek booth because I need to hear “we can’t be friends” live, ASAP.
