Ariana Grande reveals she's adopted late rapper ex boyfriend Mac Miller's dog

There might be five decades between them but Barbra Streisand and Ariana Grande have more in common than just their exceptional musical talent: namely, a love of dogs.

Ariana has revealed she talks to her 10 rescue dogs on the phone and says they act as her “nurse and psychoanalyst” to stop her feeling depressed.

Her most recent addition, Myron, previously belonged to her ex-boyfriend rapper Mac Miller, who died last year.

“I just love dogs,” she tells Dogs Today. “I don’t get low very often – they just won’t let me.

“They know what mood you are in and how to change it.”

When Ariana, 26, kicks off her UK tour with a gig at London’s O2 later this month, she will phone her New York-dwelling pals.

The star says: “They recognise my voice and wonder how I have shrunk into the phone.

Barbra, 77, loves her dogs so much, she cloned her late Coton de Tulear Samantha and now has two identical puppies – Miss Scarlet and Miss Violet – to keep a third dog, Miss Fanny, company (Instagram)

“I hate leaving them but when I come back and walk into the house, it’s party time.”

She adds: “I make sure they all feel loved and wanted.”
