Ariana Grande masked her multitude of arm tattoos for her wedding day

Ariana Grande took steps to cover up her multitude of arms tattoos for her gorgeous wedding to Dalton Gomez last weekend.

The positions singer went through the effort of hiding a large butterfly and numerous cartoon inkings on her left arms to look her best in her fairytale Vera Wang gown.

The Pokemon tattoo of Eevee, Spirited Away's Chihiro tattoo, and her Japanese symbols for 'let's sing' all disappeared for the occasion.

However, the bride did decide to keep her hand tattoos on display as well as the ink on her back.

Ariana, 27, got her first tattoo almost 10 years ago and already has more than 50 different pieces of art on her body.

Ariana - who was previously engaged to Pete Davidson - and real estate agent Dalton secretly tied the knot earlier this month and the singer recently gave fans a glimpse into their special day.

Keeping true to the Ari style, the star wore her hair pulled back into her trademark ponytail.

The newlyweds are seen smooching in one of the snaps, with Dalton literally sweeping his wife off her feet in another.

Her intimate wedding was held at her home in Montecito, California with less than 20 guests.

A representative for Grammy Award-winner told People: "It was tiny and intimate - less than 20 people.

"The room was so happy and full of love. the couple and both families couldn't be happier."

The duo got engaged in December last year after barely a year of dating.

In October, Ariana's friends revealed she was "madly in love" with Dalton just seven months into their relationship.

Clearly it was a match made in heaven.
