Ariana Grande joins Barbra Streisand on stage for surprise duet in Chicago

Ariana Grande stunned fans after joining Barbra Streisand on stage for a surprise duet.

The popstar, 26, sang with the entertainment legend, 77, during her show at the United Center in Chicago.

The pair belted out ‘No More Tears (Enough is Enough)’, a song Streisand recorded in 1979 with the late Donna Summer, to crowds who cheered when she walked on stage

In matching black outfits, they danced together to the disco classic as the crowd gave them a standing ovation.

Grande later said on stage: “I love you so much, thank you so much. I’m gonna go pass out. You’re just going to find 10 pounds of hair.”

Enough is enough: The pair focused on each other as they sang (@arianagrande)

Streisand responded: “Go pass out, thank you sweetheart.”

Grande captioned the performance – which she posted to her Instagram story – “Thank you Barbra Streisand. The best night of my life. I dunno how this real.”

Earlier in the week, prior to the performance, Streisand posted a photograph of the pair’s manicured nails with the caption “Made a new friend” and later said: “Secret’s out. Thank you Ariana Grande.”

Grande responded: “I’m sobbing. Love you so much. I can’t get over this, it’s just.... the most special and cherished experience ever. Thank you.”

The performance comes after Grande released her latest single, Boyfriend, with Los Angeles-based pop duo Social House.

The music video for the song - which explores themes of jealousy, possessiveness and infatuation - sees Grande do whatever she can to get her crush's undivided attention.

The song follows Grande’s 2019 collaborations with Victoria Monét for MONOPOLY and 2 Chainz’s 7 rings (Remix) and Rule the World.
