Ariana Grande granted permanent restraining order against fan who trespassed on mother's property

Ariana Grande and her mother have been granted a permanent restraining order against a fan who was arrested on her property two months ago.

As reported by TMZ, a judge has granted the “Thank U, Next” singer and Joan, 51, protection from Fidel Henriquez, who cannot come within 91 metres (100 yards) of her mother’s home, vehicles or the pair individually for the next five years.

He also has been instructed not to harass, threaten, intimidate or contact them, including on social media.

In March, Henriquez, a fan of the 26-year-old singer, was given a temporary restraining order against the pair after trespassing onto her mother’s property.

In legal documents, Grande said that they had been living in fear after the man had been found rummaging through her bins and had a note in his backpack threatening to murder her.

He is alleged to have gained access to the house by following a delivery driver through the gates and was arrested at the time for trespassing and battery after spitting at the officers who were called to the scene.
