Ariana Grande gives hilarious response to moment she fell off stage at live show

Ariana Grande has given a hilarious response to video of her falling off stage in Tampa.

The 26-year-old 'thank u, next' singer was strutting her stuff during the second number of the night when she tripped in her high heels and went flying.

Fortunately, after Ariana stumbled and fell from a table during performance, she landed in the arms of one of her dancers.

They helped the singer to her next position in the number and they even managed to do it all to the beat of the song, as if it was planned all along.

The Tampa Times has reported that not only did she style it out on stage, Ariana had a bullish response when asked about the fall.

She said: "Thank you for making me feel loved when I fell earlier.

"I had to fall. It's been 87 shows and I haven't fallen yet, so it had to happen."

The moment Ariana came a cropper was caught by a fan who then tweeted the video, writing with it: "She fell on beat I have tears."

Ariana didn't shy away from this and had soon retweeted it to her 67 million followers, along with her own thoughts on it.

She wrote: "oh my. at least i still made the button. i'm crying. things were going too well."

It will be a relief for her fans to see that Ariana bounced straight back up again, as the singer has been forced to cancel a number of shows in recent times.

After receiving five Grammy nominations, Ariana pulled the plug on a series of performances due to illness.

Tweeting ahead of performing at the Grammy's, she told the Recording Academy: "Be sure to have an ambulance and lots of cliquot on standby."

Until then, Ariana will no doubt practice strutting her stuff in her huge heels in the hope that there is no repeat of her Tampa tumble.
