Ariana Grande blasts Nicki Minaj feud rumours: ‘She’s been there for me every time’

Ariana Grande has clapped back at claims there’s bad blood between her and pal Nicki Minaj.

The 7 Rings hit maker was swarmed with speculation after reports surfaced that the pair had fallen out over a lyric on the rapper’s new song Bus Down Barbiana.

On the song, Minaj raps: “And I’m still winnin’, Pacquiana, Percocets, popiana, killin’ everybody beat, thank you next, Ariana.”

However, Grande has since blasted the claims, insisting that there is “nothing but love” between the pair.

Responding to a Twitter user who quizzed her on the feud, she said: “No silly a**. There will never be anything but love between us ever. She’s been there for me (in real life) every time I’ve needed somebody and I’ll always be there for her. We love each other. Bet.”

And Minaj was quick to show appreciation for her friend, adding: “Not more than you’ve been there for me behind the scenes. Love you. For life.”

Grande then added, “the most”, with a black heart emoji.

The pair’s friendship famously grew after they collaborated on a number of songs together including 2014 hit Bang Bang and most recently The Light is Coming.

Ariana Grande named Billboard Woman of the Year

Last year, Grande proved how close the pair are after she jumped up from her seat to help Minaj adjust her dress before she went up on stage at the MTV VMAs.

Grande grabbed the sheer train of Minaj’s dress in a bid to stop her tripping over as she attempted to reach the stage, after being named Best Hip Hop Artist.

While accepting her award, Minaj made sure to thank Grande, describing her as “my baby”.
