Ariana Grande joined James Corden for a remake of the hit film Titanic - truncated into a hit-filled five minutes.
The Late Late Show host introduced the segment, telling viewers how the pair were about to embark upon a musical retelling of the James Cameron blockbuster featuring 13 songs and nine sets using just one shot.
The audience watched on as a costumed Corden and Grande – whose new album is released on Friday – performed songs suitably matched to the scenes, including Styx's “Come Sail Away” and “Rich Girl” by Hall & Oates.
The duo replicated the iconic shot while singing Foo Fighters “Learn to Fly” and rapped “Ice Ice Baby” upon the first sighting of the prop iceberg to laughter from the crowd.
This version of Titanic ended with Grande's Rose - singing “Never Gonna Give You Up” - floating on the famous door with Corden's death scene heralded by NSYNC “Bye Bye Bye” before the pair reunited for a rendition of Celine Dion's “My Heart Will Go On.”
Grande will return to The Late Late Show for her Carpool Karaoke appearance on Wednesday (15 August).
