Ariana Grande and her mum granted five-year restraining order against stalker fan

Ariana Grande and her mum Joan have been granted a five-year restraining order against a fan who turned up at their LA home in March.

Following the incident in recent months, a temporary restraining order was already in place.

But on Tuesday, a judge made it final and ordered Fidel Henriquez to stay away from the star and her mum for five-years, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported that Henriquez is not allowed within 100 yards of Ariana and Joan's home or vehicles, and is under strict instruction to not contact the singer - including by text, social media messages and phone calls.

TMZ reported at the time how Henriquez stood at the pop star's door while clutching a love note, which he wanted to give to her.

He allegedly bypassed security at her LA home and is said to have knocked on the door, asking one of her managers if he could see her, according to the outlet.

Police were called to the property and the fan was found with a love note to the One Last Time singer, as well as directions to her home.

TMZ reported Ariana and Joan were "scared for their life" at the time and "needed a judge to step in".

Henriquez was allegedly arrested at the time for trespassing and battery after spitting on one of the officers who was said to have arrested him, reports TMZ.

The restraining order will run through to May 5 2025, according to the news outlet.
