Argos shoppers hail 'max drying power' airer amid soaring energy bills

When it comes to our clothes, it can take a long time for them to dry, especially with the colder weather.

And with energy bills rising, it can make it all the more difficult to get them away from being damp to the state of being able to wear them again.

Whilst a tumble dryer can speed up this process, it's not always an option for many with the item itself being expensive to purchase, as well as costly to run.

With this being something that many people want to avoid as they keep a closer eye on what money is departing their bank account, others are looking at what items they can buy that is cost efficient and will do the better job.

Looking at the Argos website, it seems as though shoppers are loving their 'Fold Indoor Clothes Airer'. At the time of writing, it currently costs £18.

"This is great for drying all my washing and it doesn't take up much room" said a third.
