Argos New Year 2021 opening times for all UK stores

Many Argos stores across the UK remain closed due to lockdown restrictions.

As a non-essential retailer, the high street chain previously confirmed stores under the tightest Tier 4 rules would only be open for online click and collection orders. While stores within Sainsbury's branches will be open for online order collection, returns and some in-store purchases.

Shoppers are being advised to read the latest updates on the Argos website if they are planning to visit.

Bargain-hunters can still shop the massive Argos sale online, which includes half price savings on everything from kitchen appliances and baby essentials to clothing and furniture.

Argos has also extended its returns policy to accommodate shoppers living under restrictions across the UK. Argos customers will now be able to return purchases made from 18 October 2020, up to 30 days after the re-opening of non-essential retailers in your area.

31 December - normal opening hours for click and collect only

1 January - Most standalone stores open from 9am - 5pm for click and collect only

2 January - normal opening hours for click and collect only

3 January - normal opening hours for click and collect only

Shoppers can use the online store finder tool  to find out the exact hours of local branches.

Argos stores updates across the UK

Argos shoppers based in England and Wales under Tier 4 will only be able to click and collect purchases from standalone stores. Those visiting Argos stores within a Sainsbury's supermarkets will also be able to click and collect orders, as well as process returns.

In Scotland, due to the latest government guidelines, shoppers will not be able to shop in stores. Most branches will only be offering click and collection of online orders - including those within Sainsbury’s supermarkets.

In Northern Ireland shoppers will only be able to click and collect orders in stores, however, returns will be processed in stores within a Sainsbury’s supermarkets.
