While the ongoing issues under the Trump administration continue to impact the American people, the most alarming concern at the moment is the government’s choice to stop extending SNAP benefits to thousands of Americans. As a result, many residents who rely solely on these benefits are feared to starve in the coming weeks. Even more troubling, despite emergency funds available for such situations, Trump and his administration have chosen not to explore these expenditure options, leading to anger among the public, including those who voted for him and now regret their choice.
That being said, while all of America suffers under Trump’s authoritarian rule during a government shutdown, the chief mischief-maker has other plans in mind. He has sent over 20 billion dollars to his friend, Argentinian president Javier Milei, to rescue the country’s failing economy. This action has sparked significant criticism, but Trump seems to be unbothered.
He is, in fact, busy hosting his billionaire mates at his properties. One of such friends is Javier Milei himself, who is now, as mentioned before, about 20 billion dollars richer. He was seen dancing to the song YMCA in a video that was recently circulated from the CPAC gala at Mar-a-Lago. No points for guessing he was doing the “Trump dance.”
Milei’s dance videos from the event have gone viral on social media, and the public is outraged. On X (formerly Twitter), one user remarked:
“They danced as the checks cleared. On 10/14 Trump said, ‘If he loses, we won’t be generous.’ The admin then lined up $40B in aid, and by 11/6 Milei was at CPAC, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Taxpayer cash for photos is not strategy, it’s election meddling. Fund farmers not foreign friends.”
Another person wrote:
“A foreign president dancing at Mar-a-Lago like he just won the lottery —because he did. $40 billion — gone — while Americans are literally standing in food bank lines. They’re laughing at you. Not with you. How much humiliation is enough?”
