Argentina today continue the defence of their World Cup crown against Egypt in the last-16.
The world champions will be wary of the African giants after being given an almighty scare by Cape Verde in the round of 32. Twice they lead the tournament debutants and twice they were pegged before an Diney Borges own goal settled the tie in extra-time.

Argentina vs Egypt prediction
Argentina, for the first time at the tournament, showed vulnerabilites in their extra-time win over Cape Verde and this should give Egypt some confidence.
However, with defensive concerns and Salah’s effectiveness being limited due to a hamstring strain, it’s hard to make a case for a shock result here.
Argentina to win, 2-0.
