Argentina coach Mario Ledesma breaks down in tears during live TV interview after beating the All Blacks

How do you put beating the All Blacks for the first time in history into words? Argentina coach Mario Ledesma didn't need to.

His Pumas team had just shaken the rugby world on Saturday morning, beating New Zealand 25-15 - a first victory in 30 attempts.

As the final whistle blew, cameras caught coach Ledesma overcome with emotion as he put his hands over his face and took a private moment to contemplate the achievement.

And when it came to the post-match TV interview, Ledesma was literally lost for words, understandably breaking down with emotion.

Asked by the interviewer why he was so emotional, he said: "If I tell you what it means, I won't be able to talk."

He then tried to get some words out in praise of his players but had to stop again.

It was a moving moment after a remarkable day.

Nicolas Sanchez scored all 25 points for the Pumas in the Tri Nations encounter, firing them into a 13-point lead at the break. They then defended for their lives to achieve history.

It means the All Blacks have suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since August 2011 after they lost to Australia last weekend.
