Are you thinking of leaving the Labour party?

According to Labour’s Deputy leader Tom Watson, 40,000 people have joined as full members since Jeremy Corbyn was elected as leader last week, bringing total membership to over 350,000. Watson has also cast scorn on Liberal democrat leader Tim Farron’s suggestion that some Labour MPs are seeking to jump ship. But is this also true of party membership?

Though the number of people joining the Labour party is huge, it’s difficult to tell the whole story about party membership, since Corbyn became leader, without knowing if people are also leaving. These figures aren’t publicly available at time of writing.

If you have cancelled your party membership, or are thinking of doing so, we’d like to hear from you. Tell us the reasons for your decision – and if you’re thinking about supporting another political party, which one?
