Thousands of Hong Kong citizens are once again protesting across the city, blocking roads and prompting the closure of banks and schools, as they stepped up their calls for democracy.

Do you live in Hong Kong? Do you support the campaigns for democracy, or are you happy with the status quo? If you’ve taken part, or are simply an interested observer, share your images, videos and stories with us.

Though we’d like to hear from you, your safety and welfare are most important – so please think about this when recording and again when sharing your content with us. You can share your photos, videos and stories with us by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ buttons. Or if you’re out and about you can download the GuardianWitness app or look for our assignments in the new Guardian app. We will use the most interesting contributions in our reporting.

  • GuardianWitness is the home of user-generated content on the Guardian. Contribute your video, pictures and stories, and browse news, reviews and creations submitted by others. Posts will be reviewed prior to publication on GuardianWitness, and the best pieces will feature on the Guardian site.
