Following the election of Donald Trump as the next president-elect of the US, thousands of Americans have been exploring their options to move away from the country.

In the past 24 hours, the website of Immigration New Zealand (INZ) received 56,300 visits from the US – a 24-fold rise on its daily average of 2,300. Within the same period, more than 7,000 Americans registered interest in moving to New Zealand, which is more than double the monthly average.

If you’re thinking of making plans to leave the US, get in touch with us. Where do you plan to migrate to? What are your reasons for doing so? Perhaps you have family living in another country and wish to move closer to them. We’d also like to hear from those who are set to move to the US but are considering cancelling their plans.
