Are you OK with Steelers players taking a knee during the national anthem this season?

The theme sweeping across the NFL and all of society in the wake of the death of George Floyd is all about what can everyone do together to elicit real change. For the NFL, one of the things that immediately come to mind is the silent protests during the national anthem.

These were a heated topic before but perhaps this time around, with everything that has happened will be more well-received by the league. But what about Pittsburgh Steelers fans? Are you ok with players taking a knee during the anthem in light of recent events?

The Steelers have never been a team to condone kneeling during the anthem and the one time they tried to do something during the anthem, completely botched it. But there is going to be a ton of pressure on teams this season to put aside personal feelings and allow players to take a knee in a show of solidarity.

Cast your vote and tell us if you’d be ok with the Steelers players taking a knee during the anthem or should they just do it on their own time.
