Are you good in bed? Sex test shows if Irish men and women are terrific or just plain awful

With lockdown in place for several months now, a lot of single Irish people have definitely seen their sex lives take a hit.

Meanwhile, others may fancy themselves as pretty good lockdown lovers after spending so much time with their partners.

But is there a way to really know how good in bed you are?

Thankfully, IllicitEncounters.com has put together a nifty test to really give people an idea of what their performance is like between the sheets.

A survey found that almost three-quarters of men (74%) and two-thirds of women (67%) have ended a relationship because the sex is not right.

Eight out of 10 men (82%) and a smaller number of women (62%) said the key to maintaining a good sex life was having a partner who realised good intimacy was the key to relationship success.

Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationship expert for the website, said: "What these findings show is that Irish men and women have completely different priorities when it comes to good sex.

“Women are looking for an unselfish lover who always puts their partner’s needs first and is never rude enough to orgasm before he has taken care of his partner.

“Men are a little straight forward and most desire a partner who is keen to take the lead in the bedroom, show that she is having a good time and try new things.

“Most sexual problems in relationships come about through complacency. Couples get bored of doing the same things every week. That is the key driver in unhappy spouses starting affairs.”

Jessica Leoni has also given a guide in regards to the test as to whether you are good lover.

She explained: "If you scored 8-10 - give yourself a pat on the back - you are terrific in the sack! Now see if your partner gives you the same marks!

"If you scored 5-7 - you are on the right lines but there is definite room for improvement. Ask your partner how you could improve.

"If you scored 1-4 - you need to shape up in the bedroom. I suspect you are only concerned with your own pleasure and this is going to cause problems in your relationship as you go forward."
