Are You Compatible? What Your Star Sign Says About Your 2026 Love Life: Part 1

Are You Compatible? What Your Star Sign Says About Your 2026 Love Life: Part 1

So you want a little romance in 2026? You’re not alone.

Plenty of people are looking toward the new year and hoping for a bit of guidance on what might be coming their way. Unless you’re Carrie Bradshaw with a panel of permanently available friends, dissecting every crush, red flag, or late-night text can feel a little tricky.

To give you something more solid to hold on to, we’ve looked ahead and uncovered what you can expect from your love life in 2026, based on your star sign. Whether you’re single and manifesting a meet-cute or already coupled up and hoping to strengthen the spark, your sign will offer a clue about what is on the horizon.

If you already have a special someone, then Moonpig’s Valentine’s Day cards are the perfect way to make sure they feel the love in 2026. We’ve even created a quiz so you know exactly what card to get based on their star sign.

For the rest of you, if you want a broader look at your next year or perhaps are still waiting on a Hinge match that actually makes it to the second date, then think of this as your guide to the cosmic shifts that will shape your romantic year ahead.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Aries angels, you guys are in for a rollercoaster next year.

While the first half of the year may bring romance and excitement, the second half may bring trust issues and emotional challenges. The influence of Saturn in your 2nd house and the North Lunar Node in your 7th house could impact those of you who are already in relationships, and any singles stepping into a situationship should be prepared for frustration ahead. Try and stay focused on your own emotional growth and keep that communication flowing.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

2026 may be a difficult year for you romantically, but you’ll come out on the other side having learned a lot. For those of you in relationships, the start of the year will bring some bumps in the road.

For any single Taurus baddies, the second half of the year is showing a little promise for some romance. While Saturn and the North Lunar Node can cause some disruption, if you practice patience and remember to stay calm and communicate well throughout this period, you should be able to find a happily-ever-after.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Love is in the air for 2026, so get ready to be booking dates and buying roses.

For any single Geminis looking for love, Saturn in Pisces is setting you up for a promising year ahead. For those of you in relationships, though the start of the year may be tricky, Jupiter’s transit in June will help ease any tension in the second half of the year. We recommend heading out on a romantic getaway and having some deep conversations to help build that emotional bond.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

For any Cancerians out there, 2026 will be a year of love, bringing emotional security and deeper bonds. If you’re single, keep an eye on June for a meaningful connection or even a commitment. For those in relationships, the first half may bring minor misunderstandings, but Jupiter’s transits in June and October will help rebuild intimacy.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

In 2026, you Leos need to face your fears and embrace vulnerability!

Jupiter and the North Lunar Node’s transits may cause some bumps in the road but, after those tricky first few months, you’re bound to round it out, matched up and in love, as Jupiter enters Leo on June 30, supporting long-lasting relationships.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

For you Virgos, 2026 will be foundational to building long-lasting love.

As Saturn and Neptune move into your eighth house, your relationships may take on new meanings, becoming quieter, deeper and more intimate. Be careful with your communications and learn to trust yourself and your partner, and you’re in for one hell of a year.

That’s a wrap on Part One, besties!

Of course, knowing what’s in store is just part of the battle; the real question is, what do you do now? For any would-be Romeo out there, Moonpig’s range of cards is the perfect way to show your loved one how much you care or maybe find that special someone.
