Are you against a Hooters Bar in Liverpool City Centre?

There has been mixed opinion since plans to open a Hooters Bar in Liverpool city centre were revealed last week.

In a letter to residents, city centre councillors revealed plans for the famous American chain to open a sports bar in New Zealand House on Water Street.

The application has prompted social reaction, opposal from the Mayor of Liverpool and a petition against the “archaic and chauvinistic brand”.

Hooters Bar is famous for scantily-clad waitresses serving alcohol and bar food.

The chain opened its first and only sports bar in the UK in Nottingham in 1998.
