Are the Giants bringing back their hideous red jerseys in 2019?

From 2004 to 2007, the New York Giants entered the alternate jersey field with the introduction of hideous red uniforms that were almost universally despised — both because of the look and the team’s dismal record while wearing them.

In recent seasons, the Giants’ alternate uniforms have resembled those of the 80s, including the legendary “Giants” helmet coupled with white-out uniforms. And unlike the red jerseys, those alternates were almost universally loved.

However, might Big Blue switch back to big red here in 2019?

Both Fanatics and NFL Shop recently added red Saquon Barkley jerseys to their inventory and online stores, sparking a debate about whether or not they could be returning this coming season.

To this point, the Giants have not announced any sort of uniform schedule or given insight into a change with their alternate jerseys, but after terminating Joseph Skiba, Edward Skiba and Ed Wagner Jr. last year following a memorabilia scandal, it’s entirely possible the new equipment department could opt to go in a new (or old) direction.

What say you, Giants fans? Would you like to see a return of the red jerseys or would you rather them stay buried for good?
