Are the Broncos considering a uniform change?

In a mailbag Q&A earlier this week, KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis dropped a nugget that created a buzz in Broncos Country.

“The Broncos are looking into possibly incorporating different uniform designs this season, but nothing is finalized,” Klis wrote.

The NFL will celebrate 100 years this season so each team will have a special “NFL 100” patch, but there had been no word about potential uniform tweaks for Denver before Klis chimed in on the subject.

Are the Broncos really considering a uniform change, though? Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic tweeted Friday that the team is not changing its uniform design.

So which report is accurate? Perhaps both are.

Denver may have been considering tweaking its uniform — which Klis reported — before ultimately deciding against it.

Regardless of whether or not the Broncos considered a uniform change, it sounds like there won’t be any tweaks in 2019. Denver last tweaked its uniform in 2012, switching from a primary blue jersey to a primary orange jersey.

If the Broncos do eventually make changes, they should consider their Color Rush uniform with white pants (it looks really good).
