With many public transport running reduced services, taxis are in high demand.
Taxi driving is classed as an "essential service" and cabs continue to run across Ireland, although, it advised you check ahead if you need a cab.
Here's what you need to know about the taxi services operating at the moment, including Free Now, Lynk and local operators.
Free Now
Free Now are still running and say they are carefully monitoring the situation.
They said: "Our main focus is to keep drivers, passengers and our employees safe.
"We are closely monitoring the situation and taking action based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities.
'We have been informing FREE NOW drivers about the recent recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and made sure that they have guidance on how to protect themselves and others."
Free Now taxis can be pre-booked up to four days in advance.
The company are currently offering a 50% discount to healthcare workers travelling to or from work.
To avail of this discount, customers must book through the app and select the 'Medical' option.
They are advised to carry their work ID as drivers may ask to see it.
Lynk taxis
Lynk taxis are also operating as normal.
You can book via the Lynk app, their website or by phoning (01) 8202020.
Lynk are also offering delivery services from shops, pharmacies and off-licences at this time.
