Are Redskins cooling on Josh Rosen?

The Washington Redskins are often named in close proximity with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen.

But a bevy of visits from draft prospects and outright silence has led some to speculate the Redskins aren’t hot on the idea of a trade right now.

Above, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has an interesting comment on a note from one of his co-workers, Mike Garafolo.

Speculation linking the Redskins to Rosen started in the first place because the Cardinals might end up taking a quarterback to start the draft outright. The Redskins are a natural link because of the serious need, assets capable of getting a deal done and the propensity for making splashes.

But for now, it’s all quiet on the Rosen front — which could mean nobody hears anything else about it until draft day.
