Are Nottingham Forest's play-off dreams dead? Fans think so

Nottingham Forest's play-off hopes were severely dented yesterday after the Reds were beaten by relegation threatened Rotherham United.

The Millers had not beaten Forest since 1956, but took the lead at the New York Stadium.

Lewis Grabban got himself back amongst the goals to draw Forest level, his 16th goal of the season, but it would be the home side who ended the afternoon victorious.

For Rotheham, the result saw them creep closer to survival in the Championship in what promises to be a captivating five-game relegation scrap.

But Martin O'Neill 's side are now five points adrift of the play-off places and, with Derby County and Bristol City both having the luxury of a game in hand, are looking increasingly unlikely to miss out on clinching a play-off place.

On what was a thoroughly frustrating day to be a Red, Forest fans have been taking to social media to answer the all important question. Are Nottingham Forest's promotion chances well and truly over?
