Are Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer actually dating?

Over the past few days Friends fans have been on an emotional rollercoaster after rumours started swirling regarding two of the show's co-stars.

David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston played on-and-off-again Ross Gellar and Rachel Green in the hit 90s sitcom.

The fan-favourites stole the show, with viewers rooting for their relationship to work the whole way.

Finally, the show ended with the iconic "I got off the plane" moment – but it doesn't end there.

The co-stars admitted to having a "major crush" on each other while filming.

In the recent Friends: The Reunion show, David told host James Corden: "I had a major crush on Jen," to which she replied: "It was reciprocated".

He continued: "We were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary."

However, recently rumours have suggested they are now dating. But is there any truth to these rumours?

Are Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer actually dating?

Recently, a source claimed to Closer magazine: "After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.

"They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA."

The insider also said that the Hollywood actress had been cooking for David at her home, and they had been spotted visiting a winery in Santa Barbara together.

However, David has now come forward to crush Friends' fans dreams.

A representative for the Kissing A Fool actor has said there is "no truth" to the rumours of a romance.

Jennifer discussed her relationship with her Friends co-star when she appeared on Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday.

She said: "The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channelled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that's maybe why it resonated the way it did.

"But no, we never - on my life, and Courteney and Lisa would know and can vouch for me."

Jennifer affirmed the pair had never gone any further together, and co-star Courteney Cox backed her up.

She added to the host, who was not to convinced: "No. I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no."

Jennifer and David are both currently single. Jennifer divorced her second husband Justin Theroux in 2017, while David parted ways with his wife Zoe Buckman the same year.
