A city centre bar has had a short reprieve after neighbours made complaints about noise.
On Point, which describes itself as Liverpool's first fully interactive cocktail bar, is on Victoria Street. People living above the bar have griped about the noise, and it's now at risk of losing its alcohol licence.
It was due to have a hearing yesterday, but there was a hitch involving scheduling. Central ward councillor Nick Small, who has brought the complaint to the licensing and gambling sub-committee, said: "I've had a number of complaints from different residents living above the premises about noise and music being persistently played outside permitted hours in breach of the premises licence."

Cllr Small added: “This has been reported to the premises licence holder and Environmental Health, but the problems continue. I hope the premises will take this seriously, sort this out and be better neighbours. It's a great venue and I want it to do well."
