It's the most wonderful - and perhaps the busiest- time of the year.
With the excitement of Santa paying a visit, you and your loved ones might be ready and raring to hit the Boxing Day sales.
And maybe you're planning a festive walk in the park or a traditional visit to your local pub.
Whatever your festive plans are, we have you covered.
Here is when buses, trains and trams are running on December 25 and 26.
Christmas Day
The Metrolink will not be running on Christmas Day.
There will be a special service running on the number 43, but no other buses will be running on December 25.
No trains will be running on Christmas Day, either.
Boxing Day
Metrolink services will be operating every 20 minutes from around 7am, with additional double units in operation on the majority of lines to provide extra capacity. The last trams are all before midnight.
Additional services will operate to and from the Etihad Stadium for Manchester City v Leicester.
Between 1pm and 7pm, frequent trams will operate between the city centre and Etihad Campus and between Ashton-under-Lyne and Etihad Campus.
A special service will run of the following buses:
- Arriva - 245, 247 and 320 (Ashton-in-Makerfield - St Helens only).
- Diamond - 8, 20, 22, 36, 37, 126, 132, 163, 471 and X22.First - V1 and V2.
- Go North West - 17, 18, 52, 93, 97, 98, 100 and 135.
- Rosso - 468 and 469 (Tottington Line).
- Stagecoach - 23, 42, 43, 50, 76, 85, 86, 101, 118, 125, 192, 201, 202, 203, 216,
- 219, 250, 256, 330 and X50.
- The Burnley Bus Company - X43.
No other buses will run.
There will be no trains running on Boxing Day.
