With news of a full lockdown in England and Scotland and Alert Level 4 restrictions in place across Wales, many people have been left wondering what is and isn't open.
In Wales, stay-at-home measures have been in place since December 20, with all non-essential retail ordered to close as coronavirus cases rise.
With high-street stores firmly shut and supermarkets open for essentials, many have been asking what that means for budget and variety stores such as B&M across the UK.
When lockdown was announced in Wales last month a spokesperson for B&M confirmed to Wales Online they would be open as an essential retailer throughout the duration.
Following news of lockdowns across the UK, B&M has reinstated their position.
The store told followers on social media: "A Message to our Shoppers.
"We have been deemed an essential retailer by the Government as the majority of our sales are Grocery, Household Cleaning, Personal Care, DIY and Pet Care goods."
The shop also confirmed it would be reintroducing its discount for NHS workers.
On top of the big savings B&M offer in store already, NHS staff will be able to save an additional 10%.
To redeem the discount all they have to do is flash their NHS photo ID card to the cashiers and they'll deduct the money from their shopping.
A B&M spokeswoman, said: "We applaud the incredible work being done by our NHS workers. We hope that by offering this discount we can help them get the essential items they need at the lowest possible price."
