Ardoyne murder investigation leads to arrest of fourth man

Police have arrested a fourth man as part of their murder investigation in North Belfast.

The 35-year-old victim of the fatal shooting, who has not yet been identified by police was gunned down outside a property in the Etna Drive area of Ardoyne on Saturday, April 4.

Following the shooting police launched a murder investigation and subsequently arrested three men on suspicion of murder.

A burnt-out car, possibly linked to the killing, was found at Kingston Court just yards from the rear of the house.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A fourth male has been arrested by Major Investigation Team detectives investigating the murder of a man in Etna Drive in north Belfast yesterday. All four suspects remain in custody this morning."
