A Co Down Golf Club has been hailed the 'best Northern Ireland golf experience of year' at a ceremony in Morocco.
Ardglass Golf Club , which is just a few miles outside of Downpatrick , was recognised for the experience they have given golf travellers in the past 12 months.
The Global Golf Tourism Organisation held its 20th Awards Ceremony on Thursday at a Gala Dinner on the final night of the in Marrakech.
A spokesperson for AGC said that they are delighted to have picked up the 2019 award.
He said: "We are delighted to be awarded the Golf Experience of the Year for Northern Ireland at last nights 20th IAGTO Golf Awards.
"A big thank you to everyone involved to make this happen. It has been a great year for Golf in Ireland as a whole and we look forward to welcoming and providing a great experience for many more International visitors in 2020."
The category this year was focused on recognising the achievements of golf courses and hotels that delivered the best possible experience to visiting golf travellers in the past year.
