Archant's staff take up shares offer

Archant, the sixth-largest regional chain with 80 titles across Britain, has distributed about £750,000 worth of shares to its employees as a result of its recent share incentive offer. On June 1, staff received more than 56,000 shares between them, most of which were free. Some 1,450 employees also bought a total of 7,092 partnership shares at a price of £13.25, each of which was then matched for free by Archant awarding two further matching shares.
