Arch Manning showed off his rushing ability in second game of junior season

Just imagine if Peyton and Eli Manning had been dual-threat quarterbacks. They would have been basically unstoppable.

Their nephew, Arch, the son of Cooper Manning, looks unstoppable himself, at least at the high school level.

After an impressive 2021 debut two weeks ago, Arch followed it up with another big day last Friday. The quarterback’s rushing ability drew plenty of reactions from fans and pundits on Twitter.

Arch (6-4, 215 pounds) led Isidore Newman to a 49-21 win over Metairie Park Country Day. The junior quarterback is one of the top recruits in college football, drawing interest from schools including Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Texas and Ole Miss, among others.

Arch’s grandfather, Archie, was a Pro Bowl quarterback in the NFL. Arch’s father, Cooper, was a high school star but his football career was cut short by spinal stenosis just before college.

Arch’s uncles, Peyton and Eli, both won two Super Bowls, but neither of them made many plays with their legs. In at least one aspect of his game, Arch appears to be even better than his accomplished family members.
